H. Jake Verhoef
Jake Verhoef is a managing partner with 4 Point Vector LLC, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, in San Antonio Texas. 4 Point Vector LLC which provides large companies and corporations with a conduit for sales of products and services. Jake is a former US Air Force Officer with more than 28 years of military and commercial business experience. Prior to joining 4 Point Vector, Jake has served as General Manager, European Operations at Elbit Systems of America a $2 Billion military defense contractor. As the GM, Jake was responsible for business development and avionics repair for the European F-16 community. He also created a unique Military/OEM partnership with the Royal Netherlands Air Force whereby Elbit personnel use RNLAF avionics test equipment for 3rd party repairs. His international relations and military aircraft management experience helped forge a tremendous opportunity for both parties.
Prior to Elbit, Jake served as Director of Government Sales for JLG Industries, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA the world’s leading provider of aerial work platforms. Jake was responsible for government and military sales and provided military program oversight. Jake has extensive experience creating and leading response efforts to RFI/ RFP garnering military contracts for the US Army Tank Automotive Armament Command and the Naval Air Command.
During his military career, Jake served as an aircraft technician, an aircrew member and an Aircraft Maintenance Officer. He has served at eight different military installations and has experience working with 10 different aircraft types. He served as an Aircraft Maintenance Officer, managing the health of a 30 large cargo aircraft fleet worth $5.2B, directed all statistical analysis, aircraft plans and scheduling, maintenance operations and aircraft engine management. Jake served as the Chief of Maintenance and Engineering Support in a selectively manned bilingual Exchange Officer position within the Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF).
In prior assignments, Jake served as the Chief of Quality Assurance for Aircraft Maintenance, led aircraft hurricane evacuations, establishing support plans and managed aircraft deployments. Jake also served as Maintenance Supervisor managing a 350 person organization and led the same organization through a massive conversion to civilian contract. He coordinated the implementation and administration of the $43M Lockheed Martin aircraft support contract which transitioned more than 300 military positions to civilian contractors. His program success prompted a follow on promotion to Functional Area Chief for the contract oversight.
Jake holds a Masters degree in Management and Bachelors in Aeronautics from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. He also holds FAA certifications in Airframe and Powerplant, Private Pilot, and Flight Engineering.
